Q: Who is the ideal candidate for the Wealthy Builder program?

A: The program is designed for both established builders looking to:

Ideal candidates have a growth mindset, commitment to excellence, and desire to create lasting community impact.

Q: Do I need prior building experience?

A: No, prior building experience is not required. Our program is structured to support both experienced builders and newcomers to the industry. We provide comprehensive training and systems for all experience levels.  If you are good at communication and sales or have a strong desire to be great at communication and sales you can build and lead a great team to do the actual building.

Q: What makes Wealthy Builder different from other coaching programs?

A: Our program uniquely combines proven building strategies with cutting-edge marketing approaches while maintaining a focus on work-life balance. We offer exclusive online visibility areas, comprehensive support systems, and active mentorship from industry veterans who are currently building successful projects.

Q: Do I need a license?

A: Every state is different. If you are in a state where a building license is required you can obtain your building license or alternatively, you can partner with a builder who already has his building license.  One of the best ways to grow quickly is to team up with experienced builders who most likely do not have the marketing systems in place that you have when you are part of the Accelerator Mastermind Program.

Financial & Investment

Q: What's the total minimum investment needed to get started?

A: The initial investment is $497 for the 30-day Test Drive Program and then $500/mo or $5k/yr for the Foundation Blueprint Membership and then approximately $49.95 one-time fee for the A2P registration fee and~$65/mo in external costs.Q: What happens after the initial 12-month commitment?

A: You have several flexible options:

  • Continue the full program month-to-month at $500/mo

  • Scale back to Builder Pro Suite with NO mentorship or NO Community at $300/mo

  • Upgrade to the Accelerator Pro at anytime

  • No long-term commitment required

Q: Do I need good credit to qualify for the $500/mo financing?

A: No credit checks are done.  You need to have the confidence that you can move forward with monthly payments as you will sign a promissory note with Wealthy Builder, LLC. Wealthy Builder goes out and secures investors to pay the $5,000 upfront and then we pay back our investors at approximately $500/mo so it is imperative that you pay the $500/mo throughout the 12 month commitment and on-time.  In order to provide the services to help you grow your business and help you achieve your net income goals we need the $5,000 fee upfront regardless if it is from you or an investor

Q: What happens if I don’t pay the $5,000 upfront and a $500 monthly payment declines?

A: All customers are billed on the 1st of each month automatically to a credit card on file.  If your payment declines, you will have 6 days to make the $500 payment.  If you have not yet made the $500 payment by the 7th of the month, your website will be turned off, your phone number will stop forwarding calls, you will be removed from the online community, access to the call recordings will be revoked and you will no longer be able to participate in the zoom mentorship calls until your account is current.  If your account is not made current within 60 days, we will look to replace your membership with another builder. 

Q: What kind of ROI can I expect? 

A: While results vary, a single custom home project can generate $50,000+ in profit. Our target is helping builders achieve $2.2M+ in annual revenue and $250K+ in annual net income at a minimum.  We have many custom home builders whose net income targets are $500k or $1mil+ annually.  Obviously, we tailor the program based on your unique goals.  These targets do not include any land development profits which can also add significant returns without adding any staff and minimal overhead.

If you offer remodeling/ light commercial services or want to refer those services to an aligned strategic partner, you can easily make back your investment in one job. Note: Even if you want nothing to do with remodeling or light commercial work, we recommend that you still promote these services because oftentimes, a remodel/renovation can quickly turn into a new custom home client or accessory building.  You can always say you don’t have the bandwidth for a project or refer it to an aligned strategic partner for a finders fee.  Many light commercial jobs lead to custom homes for the business owner as well.  We strongly believe you should have remodeling and light commercial on your website.

Q: Is there a refund available for the 30-day Test Drive Program?

A: The $497 Test Drive Program fee is non-refundable because you receive lifetime access to all core curriculum materials regardless of whether you continue with the Accelerator Mastermind Program. You also can keep the printed materials. This means you retain permanent access to valuable training resources that can benefit your business long-term.

Q: Are the program costs tax deductible?

A: While we cannot provide specific tax advice, many of our members work with their tax professionals to deduct program costs as legitimate business expenses since they are directly related to business development and education. The program includes specific business tools, marketing services, and professional development that may qualify as business expenses. However, we recommend consulting with your tax advisor about your specific situation, as tax laws vary by location and circumstances.

Payments & Project Structure as a Custom Home Builder

Q: How are builder payments typically structured during a custom home build?

A: We teach a proven payment structure that helps maximize upfront cash flow while minimizing risk.

Typically this includes:

  • Land evaluation fee of $500

  • Initial basic design & discovery fee ($500 to $2,500 to have the client cover some basic design costs, we recommend $1,500 for Design and Discovery)

  • Signing of construction agreement (deposit of $3,000 to $25,000 to pay for construction drawings for permitting)

  • Major payment at foundation start ($100,000+)

  • Additional payment at framing

  • Remaining payments scheduled throughout construction

This structure ensures you're not acting as the bank while maintaining healthy cash flow.

Q: How do I minimize financial risk when starting out or in general?

A: We teach proven frameworks for pre-selling homes and structuring deals so you don't have to risk your own capital. Our payment structure ensures you maintain positive cash flow throughout projects while minimizing risk. Many successful builders in our program started with minimal capital by following these frameworks.

Q: What if I own an existing subdivision project or piece of land ready to build, can you help me sell it?

A: Absolutely!  We use proprietary pre-selling techniques and strategies to help you pre-sell existing projects.

Q: Do I have to build custom homes to be successful with your program?  Can I solely build on spec?

A: Being a custom home builder is a great way to minimize your risk and exposure.  We do highly recommend always having custom home building as an offered service for your building company.  That being said, we can help you with investors and your journey as a spec builder too.

Q: How do you help ensure I maintain positive cash flow while transitioning to

custom homes? A: We provide proven frameworks for:

  • Structuring payments to ensure you're always cash flow positive

  • Getting paid upfront rather than being the bank

A: We provide frameworks for putting a mutual beneficial relationship together with landowners so that:

  • You can obtain a custom home client without having to put up your own money

Q: How much of my time is required during the initial 30-day period?

A: The core time commitment is:

  • 45 minutes for going through our onboarding process

  • About 30 minutes setting up the technical aspects of the program which is guided by our team

  • About 2 hours reviewing your website and marketing materials 

  • 3 hours to review the Fast Track Ready to Go Toolkit (at your own pace)

  • 8 hours to review the Wealthy Builder Blueprint (at your own pace)

  • 3 hours to review the AI Playbook for Custom Home Builders (optional)

  • Optional weekly group mentoring calls as you can engage as much or little as

  • your schedule allows while still maintaining access to all resources.

  • Optional interaction with the online community 

Q: How much time commitment is required during the Foundation Blueprint or the Accelerator Pro Membership Program?

A: The program is flexible and designed to work with your schedule. We recommend dedicating at least 5-10 hours weekly to implementing the systems and attending training sessions. Group mastermind Zoom calls are typically 4 times per week, with recordings available. 

Q: I'm worried about having enough time to implement everything. How do you help ensure success?

A: Our team handles a majority of the work and just about all of the technical implementation and marketing execution. We guide you live on zoom for the email/calendar and zoom integration into the CRM.  Your core time commitment is about 45 minutes initially to align on strategy, then you can engage with training and mentoring as your schedule allows, while we manage the day-to-day execution.  There are 2 onboarding calls available per week for new members where we guide on how to download the appropriate apps and set up the technical aspects of your calendar, zoom and CRM integration.

Q: What type of ongoing support do you provide?

A: Support includes:

  • Regular group mastermind Zoom calls

  • 24/7 online community access

  • Access to mentors and experienced builders

  • Comprehensive digital systems and tools

  • Regular accountability check-ins with your accountability coach

  • Up to 3 partners or team members can access training materials

Q: Do I need to sign any legal documents for the test drive program?

A: After your successful payment of $497 you will receive a legal agreement to digitally sign our membership agreement which contains:

  • Non-disclosure
     

  • Confidentiality

  • Non-compete 

  • Non-solicitation

  • Code of Conduct

  • Terms of use/service 

  • Release of liability/waiver

  • Media release

  • Dispute resolution

Q: Do you offer exclusivity?

A: No.  We believe in an abundant mindset.  We also believe that collaboration happens  at the top while competition happens at the bottom.

Q: How do you determine the best areas to target online?

A: We use sophisticated data analysis and AI tools during the discovery call to identify areas with:

  • Sufficient household income levels

  • Appropriate home values

  • Population density

  • Competition levels

  • Market opportunity for custom homes This helps ensure you're targeting areas where you can realistically achieve your net income goals.

Q: Who handles the website setup and ongoing maintenance?

A: You answer some quick questions online and our team handles the basics of your website setup.  You can use some of your flex hours if you require additional customization.  You'll need about 45 minutes of time upfront to go through our onboarding process. You will need an additional 15 to 30 minutes usually for us to guide you on the technical setup of your calendar, zoom and CRM integration. 

Q: I'm not very technical - will I be able to handle the setup process?

A: The setup process is very straightforward and guided. We handle all the complex technical work. You'll only need about 45 minutes initially to align on strategy through filling out an online form, and another 15 to 30 minutes in a separate call so we can walk you through any basic setup like email and calendars via screen share. Our team manages all the challenging technical aspects.

A: This will depend on your level of membership.

A: We help position you effectively by leveraging your existing construction industry experience while introducing custom home-building services. Our proven website templates and messaging frameworks help you establish immediate credibility.

Q: How do I establish credibility if I'm new to custom home building but have construction/contracting experience?

A: Our program helps position you effectively by leveraging your existing construction industry experience while introducing custom home-building services. You can ethically leverage being part of our network of builders who are actively building hundreds of homes across the country. We provide frameworks for having authentic conversations with potential clients about experience while maintaining credibility.

Q: Do I own my website?

A: No. Instead of charging you tens of thousands of dollars for the website, we are currently giving you the website as part of the founding members special.  We also update your website as we add new pages, videos or content.  Each level of membership includes the licensing of our content while you are a member.  Should you cancel after 12 months, you still own your domain name and you can use a new website from a new provider but you cannot use our website or any of the content from our website as your license expires if you are not a member.   

Q: Can I update my website myself?

A: Yes, no matter what level of membership you have or you can use your included Flex hours to have us update it for you.

Q: How long will it take for my website to go live?

A: Our goal is to get your website live and operational ASAP.  Most clients are taking less than a week on the Blueprint Foundation Website when all answers are provided in the onboarding process.  Should you decide to upgrade to the Accelerator Pro membership, your site will take approximately 45 days to complete.

Q: How does the Trusted Builders of America certification work?

A: Builders who complete our core training and demonstrate alignment with our philosophies can earn the Trusted Builders of America seal on their website. This certification helps establish credibility and enables participation in our national realtor marketing initiatives.

Q: What if I don't have all my business infrastructure (logo, branding, business name) figured out yet?

A: Our program includes guidance on all these elements. During your onboarding process, we'll help evaluate options and can provide recommendations for business names, branding, and positioning that will work in your market. Many successful members joined before finalizing these details.

Q: Do you recommend I build my first home on spec?

A: Depending on your available cash flow, credit or willingness to bring in investors, building a model home that you can sell is a great way to get started in the industry.  This is not a requirement though and we teach many methods to build a custom home for a client without needing to put up any or minimal money.

A: Yes. We will provide you a google drive link while to access the files so you can share them with your realtor or put them on Zillow or the MLS yourself.

Q: What should I be doing while my website is being built?

A: You should:

  • Have a clear net income goal for custom home building as well as other areas of your business for a total net income goal for the next 12 and 24 months

  • Have potential ideas you like for your business name if you are changing your name

  • Have potential domain names if you are needing a new domain name (we recommend registering at GoDaddy)

  • Have an idea if you want to Google starter (recommended) or Outlook 365 for email and calendar

  • Have a rough idea of where you want to target geographically

  • Have a rough idea of the price range of custom homes you want to build

  • Have an idea if you want to include renovation of an existing home and/or light commercial on your website

  • Have an idea if you want to include investor and land development on your website

  • Have your existing logo if you have one

  • Have your desired color scheme

  • Have a list of any major competitors you want us to research

  • Have your EIN and legal business name with mailing address so we can get your phone number approved for texting
